She shook her head no; she was hurt but not badly. "I'm fine." She answered quietly, turning with him to look for something. The only thing she really wanted was to leave the graveyard, and the castle, too.
"Do you need any help? You know, with him?" She asked, motioning towards the body but trying not to look at it.

"Find an empty patch of ground. I'll take it from there," Necri said as he hid his face behind the hood of his cloak. He didn't want her to see his tears. He knew that The Master had done wrong by him, but he still couldn't help but feel that despite all that, he had been...kind to him over the years, like a friend...
"Going to have to put all these gravestones back up as well, make this place the way it was," Necri said to himself as he looked briefly at The Master. He barely even seemed like the insane monster that had attacked them moments ago...

Nodding, Rain paced about to find an empty section of ground. Loose earth and shallow holes stood where gravestones had once been. She found a patch, and called out to Necri. She pointed towards the space and then walked on. She attempted to lift a displaced headstone but failed, finding it too heavy. She lifted one end and began to drag it towards where the whirlwind had occurred.
She continued to drag the grave markers to the space the storm had happened, letting them thud against the ground. There were strange markings on them that she wished she could read. By the time she bad brought the last loosed gravestone to her pile, she was panting heavily. Her side and head were sore from her fall, as well.
She sat down on one of the headstones and took a rest. She looked up at Necri to view his progress, and to make sure he was alright. She could tell that he was feeling a sort of loss that she did not know.

"Ah, the perfect spot. Not quite in the middle, but not on the outside, overlooking the outside world," Necri said as he began to dig a hole for his Master's body. There was no coffin free for the body and building one would be a waste of time, so he just kept digging.
Eventually, Necri had made a hole that was big enough to accomodate The Master's body. As he climbed back out, he ripped the skulls from his cloak and tossed them in. There was no need for any more reminders of death now. All that remained was to drag the body into the pit now. As Necri shifted over to the body, he became racked with sobs. He did his best to hide it, but tears were beginning to run down his wiskers and form tiny crystals as they fell.
"Alright old man, this is the last time I help you into bed," he said to himself as he picked up the corpse, which was still a little warm and began to walk to the hole that he had dug through the ice and hard packed earth...

She watched as he carried the body towards the grave. She felt a sickening pity for him, having to bury one he once respected so much. She stood and walked to his side, watching as he laid the man down at the bottom of the freshly dug pit. She didn't know what was right to say, nor did anything to say come to mind, so she remained silent, hoping her presence would be enough.

"Well, time to cover him up," Necri said as he climbed out of the pit and began to shovel a mix of dirt and snow into the ground. He didn't know what exactly to do at a time like this, so he just shovelled in silence as he thought back at all the things that had happened...The Master had been his whole life, what was he to do now?
"I...I know it's hard to believe, but he was a good man once, I think," Necri said as he placed stones on top of now covered mound, so that there would be an indication that something was once there. Once he had finished placing the stones, they looked to form some kind of rune-one that, roughly translated, meant 'protection.'
Once his task was finished, Necri finally allowed the tears to fall. His body became racked with sobs as he fell to his knees and just...cried.

Before she knew what she was doing, she stepped over to Necri and wrapped her arms around his waist (for that's as high as she could reach) and hugged him. It didn't occur to her what she was doing until after it had happened. She released him and stepped back, letting her gaze fall to her toes.

Necri ran his hand through her hair. "You're nice. Wish you'd found me before The Master did," he said as he looked over at the mess that had been created in the fight. There were gravestones all over the place (a few had broken in the time Necri had been burying The Master) as well as ripped up fences and more than a couple of broken trees that would need to be either taken down or repaired as well as possible...
"Well, best get to work then," Necri said as he shifted his cloak so that it would sit on his shoulders, instead of falling down to his hands. His arms were still covered by black material of some kind, but just from looking at his arms, it was clear that he was a lot stronger than he looked, especially with that chain that was wrapped tight over his right arm.

Rain smiled a little and watched him begin to repair the graveyard. She was little help to him, but she found small ways to assist. Everything nice that happened felt bittersweet after the disaster and death of The Master, even though Rain didn't know him. The death of someone she befriended was still very sad.

"And the last stone goes...here. Well, that was a lot harder than I expected, maybe I should've called up some help," Necri said as he sat against a tree stump and looked up at the castle that he had once called his home. For some reason, it looked a lot more menacing than before.
As he pondered the castle's sudden change in 'personality,' he also saw that parts were beginning to fall! "Quick, find shelter! Without The Master, it's not strong enough to stay together on its own!" Necri called out to Rain as he ran over to her and tried to drag her away from what could soon be a disaster area!

Rain quickly looked up at the toppling castle, quite shocked at what she saw. Necri had grabbed her before she could react, and started to drag her away from danger. She soon found her feet and began to run alongside Necri, finding the graveyard to be a difficult obstacle course.
She jumped over a headstone, but her foot caught it. She fell flat on her stomach and knocking the air out of her. She gasped for air, while struggling to stand up again. She regained her position, but could not run. She walked slowly forward, limping slightly on a stinging foot. Rumblings started to hit her ears and shake the ground. Rain looked over her shoulder to see the higher parts of the massive structure had already collapsed.

"We should be safe here, most of it'll just fall straight down...I hope," Necri said as he watched towers and bricks begin to crumble and collapse. He didn't know what would be left, but it had already begun...there was no turning back now!
"Shield your eyes! The dust is flying out!" he suddenly blurted as he flipped his cloak over both their heads.

She shut her eyes tight as the cloak was thrown over her head. Rain curled into a tight ball, her arms over her head. Groans, creaks, and cracks of breaking wood were accompanying the crashes and trembles of the falling stone. The earth beneath seemed to beat against her body, for it was shuddering terribly as every chunk of the castle hit the ground.

With a final crash, the remainder of the castle came tumbling down. When Necri finally lifted up his cloak, only one wall still stood. That wall was one that connected to a room that Necri had been forbidden from entering.
Well, with nobody to enforce the law, it seemed rather silly to uphold it now. With all the strength he could muster, he walked towards the wall. Every step caused him to trip, or crush something that would have resulted in severe punishment before, but still he kept on going. When he reached the other side, he fell to his knees...
"My old toys! I remember now! He must have hidden these away from me to make me forget, make me his servant...but if I wasn't born here, where did I come from? What is my real name?" he asked nobody in particular as he picked up an old wooden doll of some kind that must have seen a lot of love in its time. He handled it carefully, as though it was made of porcelin, not wood...

Rain remained on the ground for a while after the castle had full stopped collapsing. She slowly uncurled from her ball and lifted her head to view the destruction. Clouds of dust still billowed from the mass of ruin. Necri was just a small figure, making its way toward the lone standing wall. She sat up and squinted after him, wondering what he was doing.
She stood up slowly and stretched out. She debated within herself whether it was safe to follow him. Deciding it wouldn't hurt, she made her way towards the only standing wall. The wreckage proved to be a difficult obstacle for her small body. Things that others could have jumped across, to her would have to be climbed over.
Finally having spanned the distance, and being near enough to Necri to feel safe, she sat down on a large, hewed stone and rested. At this point, she realized that she was very thirsty. Rain also noticed that Necri had fallen to his knees and was rummaging through small objects. She tilted her head slightly and continued to stare at him. He spoke things to himself that didn't quite reach her ears. Curiosity moved her to get nearer to him and to figure out what was so special about the objects he had discovered.
She walked to his side and looked down at the small things in his hands. They were quite foreign to her, therefore she couldn't understand what it was about. Deciding it was best to remain silent once again, she did so.
