"Well, I'm guessing you still want to visit the graveyard, right? Well, I guess it can't be much less dangerous than the library is today," he said as he made sure that the window was closed. After that, he made his way to a strange looking bookcase and pushed a torch to its side. A clicking noise sounded from behind the wall and suddenly, the bookcase moved to the side, to reveal a deep tunnel!
"There's a huge tunnel network in this castle and this one will lead us out to the graveyard the fastest," he said as a strange glow seemed to emit from deep inside the tunnels. It wasn't anything harmful, but it was certainly unsettling...
((Keep safe until your return! I have a few good ideas that you'll see when we get to the graveyard...
Also, keep safe after your return too!))

Rain nodded and waited for him to lead her away. When the bookcase moved aside, her eyes widened, the blues in them showing vividly well. The emanating glow enthralled her, yet made her extremely wary. She hesitated to proceed into the tunnel, but it's fascinating qualities drew her in like a moth. She took a halting step forward before disappearing into the deep blackness of the dark path.
[Thanks very much! I should be posting a bit more for a while.]

"It's a type of glowing moss. I don't know how it got in here, but it's much safer than leaving lit torches in here," Necri said as he felt his way through the tunnel. He stopped every now and again, to examine the moss, like he could see every small change that happened in it.
After a few minutes of passing through tunnels, the two unlikely companions soon found their way into a sprawling graveyard. There were rows upon rows of gravestones. Some were huge, some were somewhat smaller. All of them were covered in snow though, which confused Necri to no end...
"What's all this cold white stuff?" he asked as he picked up a chunk of it in his hand. It was...wet, like water, but it was far colder than anything water he'd felt before! He just hoped that nothing else would appear to interrupt the strangest, yet most familiar series of events he'd encountered in a long time.

"That's snow." Rain said, peering into his hands as she stepped up to his side. "There is a lot in my homeland, but I haven't been there for a long time." Running out of things to speak about, she turned and started to explore the graveyard. It was much more vast than she thought it would be, and the many headstones puzzled her.
"Who are all these people that are buried here?" She called, having walked some distance away from Necri. "Did they all live here in your castle--" She stopped, and stood silent. It suddenly felt dangerous to be there.

"Master said that they died when the world tore apart. Never thought to ask where they came from before that, but I can call up the skeletons if I try hard-" His sentance was cut off as he spun around to look over at what he thought was a shadow, but it was something much different.
Sitting on top of a large gravestone was a being draped in more black robes than even Necri! As he jumped off and landed, it was clear that the being was human and rather old. He had a grey, smooth beard that trailed to his waist and dark, dark eyes that looked almost dead!
"M...master! You're back early! Guess what? I found a survivor!" he exclaimed as he ran over with his eyes lit up in excitement. All he recieved however, was an incredibly powerful slap that sent him reeling to his feet.
"Idiodic child! This is obviously an illusion," The Master said as he pointed at Rain. Necri was confused, but he sighed and looked up at Rain without question.
"You are...an...NO! You're wrong! Rain is real!" He exclaimed as he walked back to Rain's side. This caused a decent change in The Master's attitude. The winds picked up and pushed the snow away to reveal the still living grass.
"Very well...if I cannot convince you, I shall have to do away with you!" Master said as he began to recite a long and apparantly old incantation that gave Necri the time to bring out his weapon once again.
"If you are able, now's the time to fight. I've...I've never seen him like this before, I can't reason with him at all directly," he said as he sent a few quick mental attacks to his former Master in an attempt to reason with him that way, but each of them were useless. If there was ever a bad time for this to happen, now would be it...

[Okay, let's see if I can rewrite this!]
Rain cowered back at the sudden appearance of Necri's master. Her hesitation and fear heightened as their discourse continued. As Necri stepped next to her, her courage side seemed to slip forward. Her small hand grasped the hilt of her short sword, and pulled it out of her sheath with a beautiful sound.
Her stance changed to that of cower to pounce. A lively vigor flared up in her large blue eyes, such as it nearly twinkled with excitement. She bared her teeth and took a deep breath before aiming a powerful lunge towards the heavily cloaked figure.
Rain's sword wasn't poised to kill, but to distract. She stabbed the air beside the man's face while grabbing his arm and clinging to it, danging above the graveyard floor precariously. She wasn't sure if she was enough distraction for Necri to preform some of his magic, but she hoped it would last. Her only worry was being flung into a headstone.

"Let go of me, whelp!" The Master said as he tried to shake Rain off, but to no avail. Luckily, that was just the kind of distraction that he needed to fire off a quick incantation.
"Shadows, come to my aid Fill my anger with your power those once respected have overstayed their welcome and now it is time for him to go!
Adumbra Projeshi!"
With that, he thrust his hands out. A dark ball of energy careened towards The Master, who took it directly in the chest and found himself on his back. He dropped Rain, who fell to the ground like a ragdoll.
"Insolent whelp! You shall pay for that with your life!" The Master exclaimed as he...began to float? That was new.
"Just stop, please!" Necri said as he charged at The Master, with his scythe ready to slash. With any luck, this would be over soon, but as he found himself being thrown back by a gust of wind, he knew this could take some time...

Rain fell with a thud, her arms held up to shield her face. Her sword clinked down beside her, and a strong wind erupted from what seemed to be the Master. She gripped the turf with her claws, bending her head to shield her eyes from the strong currents of air. Her grip slipped and her body started to lift off of the ground, her sword sliding away and into the base of a headstone. She couldn't open her mouth, or her eyes. Dirt and small rocks started to lift from the ground through the grass, and hit her face and arms. The stinging from the winds and debris caused her concentration to shift away from gripping to the earth, and she slipped slighting upwards.
An uncanny thought of letting go filled her mind, either from the pain of clinging or the lack of strength to continue doing so. She tried to imagine where her sword was, and where she would land once she did hit the ground. The chance of landing on a gravestone caused her grip to tighten, but she was unsure how well Necri could battle this on his own. She would have taken a deep breath, but the whirlwind around her prevented that. She counted down in her head, but slipped and flew a small distance before she had reached the goal. She landed somewhere behind the cloaked and floating man, his many layers flapping and cracking in the gusts.
Rain held her hand above her eyes and scanned the situation. Necri looked wary of how to handle his predicament, and the elder continued to hover off the ground in a menacing fashion. Her sword was too close to the two to reach, so she stood back and tried to remedy the situation. It seemed almost impossible for her to interfere, yet a gnawing guilt pushed her on. She scrunched up her face in thought for a short time, then proceeded to shout randomly.

The Master crashed into Necri with an incredible force! Necri could do little more than allow his body to be crushed like a nut as his former mentor backed up to do the same thing again...until he lifted up his arms.
"Adumbra...projeshi!"
A blast of shadowy energy flew from Necri's hands and circled The Master once...twice...then it blasted him in the back! While the old man reeled from the injury, Necri tossed his one-handed scythe at The Master. A hit! The scythe cut his arm just as Necri pulled it back, thanks to the chain, but then Necri fell to his knees.
"Master...what have I done?" Necri exclaimed as he saw the blood fall from his master's wound. Even though he had already figured out that The Master wasn't acting in his best interests, but he still felt...something.
"Do not worry Necri, redemption is upon you," The Master replied as the winds picked up to such a point that gravestones began to lift out of the ground! Even now, Necri had a plan. He noticed that Rain's sword was too far for her to reach, but with a little luck...
"Only got one shot," he said to himself as he dodged a gravestone. He thrust his arm out and 'pushed' the sword closer to Rain! It was still not next to her, but it was all he could manage before he felt the unbearable pain of a leg shattering against a stray gravestone.
"Aargh!" he exclaimed as he gripped his leg. How he managed to stay upright was beyond him, but the battle wasn't over and he didn't want to lose this time!
"Have at it then," Necri said as he dodged a few more stones and other debris in an attempt to keep upright.

Her small sword was carried closer to her by the winds after Necri had tossed it towards her. She gripped the ground with her claws and struggled to reach for it. Her clothes whipped about her and her eyes watered with the effort to keep them open, even if they were only slits. She discovered an easier method of resisting the winds by laying flat on the ground. Nearly slithering ahead, Rain grasped he sword tightly and continued to edge nearer to The Master.
She had no real plan of attack, she only assumed that to weaken him would bring him down, or at least stop the violent winds. The closer she came to him, the thicker the flying debris. It seemed that all the headstones near him and loosened and come out of the ground. Now clumps of dirt and rocks were flying past her. Suddenly, the winds were extremely strong, and she felt she would be sucked upwards. With a final burst of energy, she leapt near him, almost underneath him, and was surprised to find that there was little turmoil here. Before the shock of calm had subsided, she raised herself up and swung a painful gash into his upper leg.
Surely he would have lost all concentration? The winds about her lowered in strength, and he staggered mid-air slightly before aiming a blow at her. Pain seared from her shoulder as she pummeled into the ground. She rolled over quickly to cast a look at Necri before trying to stand up again.

Suddenly, The Master toppled from his central point in the eye of his storm and found himself thrust around in the remainder of the magical winds before they stopped, thus sending him into a tree. The Master groaned in pain as his back was slammed into a tree.
With what must have been a miraculous amount of effort, Necri managed to shuffle over to the old man.
"W...what're you going to do to me?" The Master asked as Necri dropped his weapon. His eyes were full of fear as the Ildemin rose to his feet.
"You lied to me, told me that the world was no longer safe, kept me away from it all! I've missed out on so much because of you. If it is your time, it shall be with my bare hands!" Necri said as he began to punch the living daylights out of his former master. Blood began to fly from the old man as Necri kept attacking. There didn't seem to be a way to stop him!
"Bastard! Life stealer! I'll take what you took from me!" he yelled as he sank further and further into a mad rage...

Rain gaped at Necri's actions for a short time. He seemed to be slowly killing the older man, who now seemed feeble and helpless. She staggered over towards him. She grabbed his arm before he could aim another blow at The Master. She was jerked forward with the force of his punch, but continued to hold on.
"He's finished! Just leave him alone!" She cried, thinking it would be easier to drag him away by the tail. "You've done enough, come on!"

Slowly, Necri felt himself being tugged away from the anger he had unleashed. When he became fully aware of what he had done, it was too late. His gloves were stained with The Master's blood and as for the old man? He wasn't moving at all-his eyes had clouded over and he wasn't even breathing a tiny bit...
"Wh...what have I done?" Necri asked as he fell to his knees. His Master was dead. What had he proven, but taking down a feeble old man? He had looked so much stronger in life than he did now...was this death? Necri still didn't understand...

She let go of Necri and took a few hesitant steps backward, her eyes focusing on the empty ones of the deceased. She looked at his killer, both in awe and fear, and felt cold. She clenched the sword in her hand, the tip dripping blood which was slowly thickening. Her eyes fell to the small blade, thinking how she had helped kill the man this blood had once flowed through.
The battle between right and wrong ravaged in her head. She put her free hand on her forehead and closed her eyes for her head was thumping with pain. It seemed that bringing The Master down was right, yet killing him was wrong. Or was it? He was trying to kill her and Necri. She made a noise of frustration and opened her eyes.
She realized that she, too, was injured. She lifted her head to Necri, who seemed absolutely crushed. She walled herself up and took a step nearer, and put her small, clawed hand on his shoulder. "Can you walk?" She asked.

Rain's hand was like a shock to Necri. Her question was even stranger.
"Give me a moment and I will," he said as he placed his hands over his mangled leg and closed his eyes. Slowly, he whispered something to himself an his leg began to move on its own! Slowly, the bone began to reattach itself and the wounds closed up, as though of their own accord!
"Ugh, I hate when I need to do that, do you need help?" Necri said as he looked around for a shovel or something. He didn't notice if anything major was wrong with Rain, but he had a feeling that burying this body would be of a higher importance...for now.
