Wildfire spun around. He had nearly forgotten about the other kid. He looked like a local, or at least someone who had been here a while, possibly alone. If he had a soft spot, it was for wild scrappers like this. He had a feeling that this kid wouldn't have known about stuff like that, so he was more than happy to oblige.
"You don't know? Well, I'll try and explain it as best as I can," he said as he found an empty patch of ground and began to draw images with an arrow.
"Y'see, the world looks kind of like this. If you flatten it out, like in a map, it looks kind of like this," he said as he drew a semi-accurate map of Riiga as it was known. "Now, this area here is called East riiga. It's ruled by King Enos and is worshipped like a god, near as I can tell. In the middle here, that's what us humans call central, but there's usually more than just us people there. Over in the west, well, that's the west. Wish I could be a little more helpful, but my education in that area was somewhat lacking. There are other areas, but they're off limits and somewhat dangerous to travel," he said as he stood up.
"And that's the basic geography of Riiga," he said as he stood up. "As for what nobles are, they're pompus sub-rulers who think they rule more than they do. They tend to try and gain more power, but they get found out rather easily," he said as he placed the arrow back into his quiver. Two arrows left...he had a feeling that he'd best be careful.

Scott went up and observed the map. He pointed to a patch of sea southwest of Ideitess [West] where Wildfire had forgotten to draw an island.
"I was there," he said, confused. "How on earth did I end up here? It felt like yesterday when... when... I don't even remember what I was doing." He looked up at Wildfire, then across to Eric and Lucian, though he didn't expect anyone to know what he was talking about.

"Could've been some kind of magical current that dragged you here. They're said to crop up wherever they're needed, maybe you just got lucky," Wildfire said as he scratched his head. He honestly didn't know how this guy had gotten here, or if there was anything like a magical current...he just wanted to sound remotely smart for a change.
"Still, even with the luck of a thousand charms, I have no clue how you could have been carried here..."

Scott stared at Wildfire blankly. "That's bizarre," he muttered, looking briefly towards the two boys as though they held the answers. He knew they didn't. "I've not heard of magical currents. Nobody hear knows magic, do they?"
Then he shrugged and looked out to sea. There seemed to be a strange music on the wind, else the palm trees were especially musical today. He turned back to the others, and though he was certain none of them knew magic, there was expectation in his eyes.
"I do think we should try to get off of here." He turned to Wildfire. "Did you mention you had a boat? Or did I imagine that?"

Eric snorted. "Magic? Never heard of that. Just life, death, and whether you'll get a meal before a day is over." Already he was starting to get used to speaking again. "What's that noise?" he asked, indicating the music.

"Yes, I have a boat, but it's hardly big enough to fit all of us on it," Wildfire said as he gestured towards where he had left the boat last. It was near impossible to see from where they were, but it was a decent-looking boat, about big enough to fit the two biggest people there...but as for the kids? He wouldn't leave them alone with each other for a second, unless he wanted them to kill each other.
"However, I came here to get some special wood to make into arrows...well, that and I'm down to my last one now," he said as he placed the arrow back into his quiver. He was rather agitated by the fact that there were other people on the island, but he kept himself under control by reminding himself that he couldn't really do anything about that. He stood up like he was about to leave, when Eric made mention of magic.
"Be glad you've never heard of it kid. Magic's just another unseen force that everyone wants to stake a claim on," he said as his ears pricked up, as though by instinct. Was he hearing...music?
"Could be that there's some native tribe trying to lure us somewhere, or it could just be the wind blowing through something...yeah, it's probably just the wind," Wildfire said as he quickly looked around. Nothing came into sight straight away, so he just assumed that it was nothing to worry about...he hoped.

Scott shrugged idly. He, too, could hear the music, but to him it was just wind. Then again, considering his state of mind, anything could sound like anything else to him. Suddenly, from out of the scrub there emerged three small pale figures covered in hair and wielding weapons. They didn't seem associated with the music, but rather, they seemed quite intent to harm the people they'd suddenly come across. With a cry and wave of their weapons, they ran for Wildfire, who was closest. Scott drew his sword and ran in without hesitation.
[They're Folang. If you've fought them before, you know they're not too much of a hassle, but never to be underestimated]

Lucian watched the various faces as the other humans talked, his eyes quickly flicking from one to the other. "Magic. Not me." His enunciation was hardly clear, and his voice was oddly nasal. Not the pretentious 'noble' kind of nasal more like he couldn't talk properly - quite likely the reason why he had written in the sand earlier.
When the Folang appeared his eyes went wide in shock. He looked around for something, anything to defend himself with but sadly found nothing. His next option was to find cover and so that's what he did, running towards a nearby pile of boulders and ducking down behind them while those with weapons dealt with the creatures.

Wildfire rolled his eyes. "I'd like to go just one day without being attacked by something. Just one, is that too hard?" he asked nobody in particular as he quickly unstrung his bow. Since he only had one arrow left, he decided to not waste it on these...whatever they were. Besides, a bow could be just as good as a staff without its string in the right hands.
Since they were rushing for him, Wildfire managed to kick one away and send a low, sweeping swing with his bow towards the others. It didn't do much in the way of damage, but it at least got them off balance long enough for Wildfire to make an analysis of the group.
"Okay, looks like we have three...somethings," Wildfire said as he managed to parry a swing of some kind that came from one of them. Instinctively, he reached for the part of his quiver that would have housed some sticky arrows, but alas, he found nothing...it seemed as though he'd be stuck with pure instinct for this match!

Eric was immediatly in the fray. Finally there were things to fight. He fought in a more animalistic fashion than the others, using his fists and feet as much as he used his spear. He fought one on one with one of the creatures. He had cuts appearing, but they only helped him fight. He saw the other boy hide and made a sound somewhere between a laugh and a groan.

[Folang don't use magic]
The Folang did not seem to see Lucian run away, and if they did, they didn't care. A few were knocked back by the able Wildfire, but the others were only maddened. One of them lunged in, aiming to chop at Wildfire's leg, as anything higher would require them to jump. The other stepped back. The third was occupied with fierce Eric. Though this one had managed to only cut at Eric a few times, it remained somewhat defensive.
Scott reached the one that was idle, and he slashed down at it. It jumped back swiftly and sand shot into the air. It launched itself at him but he smacked it in the head, sending it into the beach scrub. He ran after it immediately, trying to cut it down, but it dodged and jumped, searching for its lost weapon that was torn from its grasp.

[they're too dumb >_>]
Lucian peeked from behind the rocks every now and then but kept down occasionally looking around just in case there were more Folang trying to flank the small group fighting them. Not that he could exactly do much to warn the others if he saw something.
[short one, but there's not much for Lucian to do]

((Well, the wiki didn't have any info about them, but post modified. Also, what kind of weapons do they have? Swords? Axes? Polearms?))
The blow landed on Wildfire's armour precisely. The green haired archer winced in pain, but thanks to his armour, he only endured a small amount of damage. To him, it was no worse than dropping a blunt knife on his toe. A very heavy blunt knife, but it was still painful.
"You're so dead you little creep!" he exclaimed as he launched a punch at the...thing, which it easily dodged. Wildfire wasn't used to fighting small targets (that is to say, he wasn't that used to fighting without arrows at all) but he managed to land a few blows to his opponent before it managed to react again. This time, it struck for Wildfire's feet, in hopes of pinning the giant down, but no luck!
"Going to have to try harder than that!" Wildfire said as he managed to knock the creature's weapon away from it, although that didn't do much for him, other than cause a serious cut in his bow.
Without hesitation, the creature sped towards Lucian. Wildfire seemed to be in shock. It was going for their weakest link! He looked around. Great, a rock! Wildfire closed his eyes and shut out all other distractions. In a single, fluid movement, he pitched the rock right at the assailant and hoped for the best.
[c]WHUMP[/c]
The beast fell limp on the sand...and not a moment too soon! Any closer and it could have been fatal for the young noble. As soon as his safety was assured, Wildfire surveyed the field, to see if the others needed his help...so far, they both seemed to be holding their own.

Eric and his opponent were now in a grapple, one trying to knock the other off balance. Eric, in a flash of humour made a strange move. He relinquished with sudden abruptness and the creature ploughed into him. Eric however managed to reassert his balance and threw the creature right at Lucian. "Catch!" he yelled to the noble boy.

Lucian apparently doesn't hear the call and the next thing he knows is he has an angry ready to fight feral Folang on top of him pinning him down and setting about shredding what's left of the young nobles clothes more then they already were. Once they're gone - though the young noble does kick and throw his fists and try to struggle away - it's more than likely the Folang will start tearing the boy apart.
