Eric's mind, though apparently far gone in sanity, seemed to be returning at quite a rate. "Because you're an adult." he said simply. He turned back to Lucian. "I got here by raft."

Lucian didn't look up, not even when Scott raised his voice to him. He seemed to be flat out ignoring both him and the scruffy brat that tried to kill him.
Time seemed to either get the better of him or he eventually calmed down. He got up and turned back towards them. He managed to look shocked, surprised and angry all at once - one of those looks a noble can pull off all to well.
He patted his clothing as if checking for something, frowned some more and found a stick which he used to write something in a still firm, recently damp patch of sand. He then snapped his fingers quite loudly - the whole manner saying I want your attention. Now! - then he pointed a few times at what he'd written.
(If Scott looks at what he wrote)
'I'm Lucian, my father is (insert noble). That filthy peasant assaulted my person for no reason. I demand you take his spear and tie him up immediately!'

Scott did look at the writing on the sand, and then he looked back and forth between Lucian and Eric. He rubbed his forehead and shook his head.
"You're... You're from the east, aren't you?" he asked Lucian. "You're definately not from the west. What are they thinking, sailing all the way back here? Are they trying to take over new lands now? Ah, you probably don't know anyway. You're just some noble's son, right?"
He walked to Eric and held out his hand. "Give me the spear, boy. It's dangerous."

Eric backed away and brandished the spear. "Not on your life. Get away from me or I'll put you so far away you won't ever get back." he snapped viciously.
He looked down at the writing in the sand. He could actually read. Not brilliantly, but he could read most of the note. "Don't think about tying me up either."

((Joining as Wildfire.))
Meanwhile, a slightly more intent traveller made his way to the island in a small sailing boat of some kind. It was of course, Wildfire Magni, but what the heck was he doing out here? To be honest, he wasn't sure, outside of the need for more arrows. He had heard rumours of a small island with unique wood, so there would be a good place to start. If the rumours were false, then he at least got a few days sailing out of them and there should be something of value that he could sell off to an eccentric collector. Central seemed full of eccentrics, even more so than his home.
As he managed to anchor his little boat just off shore, Wildfire heard some kind of struggle nearby. After rolling up his cloak and leaving it weighted on the boat, he grabbed his bow and the few remaining arrows that he had left, before wading through the water. It was times like this that he was glad he wore leather armour, instead of chain or plate mail.
Soon enough, he found himself looking at a most perculiar scene. There was a soldier of some kind, probably a shipwreck victim, holding up a child! There was another kid nearby, so Wildfire decided to grab an arrow from his quiver, just in case. He'd strike when he knew that the moment was right and not a second before.
However, even the best laid plans often go unused. Just as Wildfire readied his bow, a small creature of some kind began sniffing around his foot. While he tried to shoo it away, it began getting somewhat amorous with his leg, so he was forced to kick it away, which unfortunately sent it flying quite near the older of the two (he couldn't see Lucian from his new vantage point, due to a tree). Well, Wildfire knew this much from training: when your cover is compromised-hide!
Unfortunately, the trees had grown just enough so that he couldn't reach up to climb into them and trying to jump up into them would just cause even more suspicion, so he decided to just give himself up, if anyone came looking.

Lucian tilted his head, it seemed clear that he was watching Scott's lips, or at least the lower part of his face.
He nodded when the soldier said he was from the east, then shook his head emphatically a few times in reply to the next bit. He kicked over what he'd written in the sand then wrote something else.
'No. I was kidnapped. I think something happened to the ship they had me on. Now I'm here.'
Lucian didn't see the boat as he was facing the wrong way. He also didn't notice that there was someone else nearby until the animal went sailing through the air towards Scott and the 'peasant' at which point he seemed to quickly backtrack it's flight and fix his attention on the spot it had come from.

[This is gonna get confusing]
Scott also turned to look where Lucian was looking, and there was movement in the trees. He narrows his eyes at the bushes.
"So now two of them have weapons," he muttered. "Great."
Turning away from Eric and Lucian, he began to approach the trees from whence the arrow came. Standing before them, he now saw a young man amidst the foliage, wielding a bow and looking quite bewildered. He glanced over his shoulder at the other two on the beach, wondering now what to do. He was the oldest there, but he didn't at all feel in control.
"Who are you?" he asked the young man. "Where did you come from?"

Eric didn't lower his spear, but he seemed to relax a little. He was thorughly confused now. He didn't know who the enemy was, who to kill, or if they even needed killing. He was still feeling antagonistic to this Lucian and Scott. The newcomer didn't concern him. "Uhh, what's going on?" Eric asked.

((Last I checked, he didn't shoot, just sent a furry woodland creature flying towards them.))
Great, the biggest one had to come looking for him. Still, as he had planned, he didn't move from his location. By the looks of it, this one didn't look at all confident. Well, it was time to put on a facade of his own...bah, too much work. He'd just act as he always did-cool and calm. Good thing there weren't any females amongst this lot.
As soon as he was asked who he was and where he had come from, Wildfire cleared his throat and began his usual speech.
"Long story short, I'm Wildfire Magni, former Knight of Enos, East Riiga. More recently, however, I'm a free ranger. Need anything else, or can I be on my merry little way and collect parts for my arrows?" he asked in his usual tone. Feh, he didn't even know this guy and he already had to introduce himself? Centrals sure were a strange bunch.

Lucian closely watched Wildfire's mouth as he spoke narrowing his eyes a moment in concentration at a few of the words the 'Ranger' spoke.
He then walked closer, bearing Noble despite his bedraggled look. He snapped his fingers twice, quite loud and perhaps not surprisingly commandingly, to get someone's attention. It didn't seem to matter to the youth just who paid attention as he then pointed at Wildfire emphatically and gestured for the ranger to come closer.

Wildfire didn't pay much attention to the snap. He'd been pushed around by much bigger foes in the past and he doubted that this kid would be any threat. Still, when this ratty kid-thing told him to walk closer, he decided that he'd better do so, least he start a temper tantrum, or worse!
"I'll be right back," he said to the guard, who still hadn't given his name. He walked about five steps closer to the kid, crouched down and said in a simple voice, "what?"
After all, there wasn't any need to be any more complex with what he assumed to be a spoiled brat.

Lucian wrote in the sand once more.
'You said you're from the east, that you used to be a Knight of Enos.' He then showed off an ornate bracelet that clearly identified him as being of noble birth given that it was marked with a family crest. 'How did you get here? Do you have a Boat? My Father is one of King Enos' vassals.'
The youth paused and his manner shifted slightly, looking somewhat pleadingly at Wildfire before writing some more.
'If you were heading back to our Kings lands, could you take me with you? My Father would reward you.'

Wildfire eyed the bracelet. "Ah, I thought I recognised you. You're definately the son of one of my father's friends," he said with just a hint of disappointment. Just once he'd like to go somewhere without finding someone he knew...
"Oh, and in order of your other questions, I came here by boat, it's a two-manner at best and still in one piece. No, I'm not going back any time soon and even if I was, I'm not interested in any reward," he said as he stood up and turned to the other two.
"Besides, I couldn't go and leave you two alone, could I?" he asked. Well, Wildfire might be insensitive to some people, but he had a feeling that he couldn't leave those two alone for long.

[Try to stick to the initial order of posting, guys]
Scott watched Wildfire go and talk to Lucian and then turn to look at him, at which Scott flinched. He looked at Eric, who currently seemed content to stand and watch. Then he spoke to Wildfire again.
"I need a boat quite urgently. You see, the last thing I remember is being on Curin. That's an island some distance from here, over in West." He walked to Wildfire and spoke slightly lower. "I was leading my troop there and we were attacked by flying creatures... And then I woke up here. Now you can't say that's normal. I need to get back to Central to tell my superiors what happened down there..."

Eric sighed and leaned on his spear. None of this made sense to him. "What's West?" he asked. The red had gone from his eyes, his curiosity had gotten the better of him. "And what's Central and what's East? And what's 'noble'?" he continued to ask, questions flying like a flock of birds.
