"We're going over the water?" Enos whispered, probably loud enough for Alex to hear. "Perhaps they're hiding on Black Gull Island..." He looked across the water at the large island some way off, and then around at the other islands. "Or any of them for that matter." He turned to Alex. "Humans have ship routes in the sea further north. Ships and boats sail along there all the time. I wonder where they're going..."

The boars were penned into the barges and Alex and Enos were dragged into the row boats while the camp was packed up. And then the boats were off and rowed forwards and suddenly there was a ship where there had been no ship before. A large ship, but an odd shape. No sails for starters. And the front was a slope up to a straight deck and then dropping sharply behind.
And there seemed to be something folded against the hull. And when the ship was loaded up, and Alex and Enos were all tied up in the brig, the ship began moving. A look out the window showed Alex that the ship wasn't just moving forwards, but upwards. "Hmm witchcraft."

"A flying ship?" Enos said hushly. "Bizarre... Simply bizarre..."
He watched the clouds out of the window and then turned his attention to the ropes. They were quite tight but he didn't want to risk escape just yet. It was too soon.
"Are you all right?" he asked Alex.
[Over in Lyte, in Headquarters]
Captain Murdock was patrolling the courtyard with his hands in his pockets, as he does, when he was approached by a rather serious-looking guard bearing a few papers - a sign that he was assigned a new mission.
"What's this?" Murdock asked, taking the papers and reading them quickly.
"A new mission, of course, sir," the man said.
Murdock paused. "How does the General know all this? It's rather assumptuous..."
"Since when do you question Talos? Err... n-no offence, sir."
"Indeed. Excused." Murdock turned round on one foot and headed back into the building to prepare.

"Fine." Alex said. This last event had surprised him a little and left him more talkative than usual. He swore he lost his stomach when the ship suddenly accelerated and sped northwards.

[More talkative is one word? lol]
Enos moved backwards as the ship began to move.
"We need to start thinking of how to escape," Enos said. "Unless... You don't want to escape, do you? Do you want to kill these brutes?" He fixed his gaze on Alex. "I can tell. I've seen that look before."

"Look?" Alex asked. "I want to kill nobody yet. I want to see where this thing takes us."

"You might not have anywhere to go back to, but I do," Enos said, looking away. "I don't have time to waste sitting in airships. If you're not going to help me escape, I'll find a way out myself..."

"Hmm no place to go, well that's nice, thank you for reminding me." Alex said cooly. "Go ahead and try to get out. Except we're over ocean. You escape, there's only water below us. You get out, you'll drown."
He snorted. "And don't bet on any gods to save you, there's no such thing as gods."

"Thanks for reminding me," Enos said back with a smile. "I meant get out of this room, not off the... ship... thing." He said nothing about Alex's belief. "But I don't want to leave you alone, so I'll stay here and wait and see where it goes, as you said. I'm needed elsewhere, that's all."
He sighed and looked out of the window again.

(gonna do a time jump in here)
"We all are needed elsewhere." Alex said simply. ****
Four hours later the ships suddenly jolted as they slowed down. A quick look out the window for a moment showed nothing but darkness. But then he saw they were landing on the shores of a jagged, black rocked island. Lightning crackled in the sky and thunder boomed and some distance away was something very large. A fortress of some kind. "So here we are. Now we can try to escape."

Enos locked his gaze onto the view out of the window. He flinched at the flashes of light outside and turned to Alex.
"Do you think there are some small boats conveniently sitting on the shore? Or can you fly one of these things?" He stopped and looked towards the door as he heard footsteps.

Alex smiled, a first for him, though perhaps at a bad time. "There's a way off. Hush though. No revealing anything."
The guards appeared. "Get up scum, move it along!"
Alex was on his feet and he let them bind his hands and he walked out ahead of Enos.

Enos followed closely, hands bound, not wanting to be separated from or lose sight of Alex. Everyone else was not human. Enos didn't trust anyone else. He took a good look at his surroundings; noticing places to hide, weapons that could be grabbed, places to cut the rope, and unguarded areas. He looked back to Alex, rather concerned.

Alex whispered under his breath. "I've been looking for this guy. I've been wanting to bring him down for some time now. Either I'll attack now, and if that's not possible, than I at least know where he is."

"Ah," Enos said. "I won't leave you. I'd ask what you have against him, not now's not really the time."
He eyed the guards around him, watching the way they looked around and kept their hands near their weapons. They seemed quite dangerous and aware. It would be tough getting by them, since he knew so little about them.
