Name: Phoebe Albridge
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Class/Rank: Guard/Guard *due to circumstances, her standing may be in question
Abilities: Master Fencer, Basic Light Magic, Lionhearted, Composure
Personality: Phoebe is normally very stern, and reserved. She constantly wears a serious expression and rarely smiles. Neither has anyone seen her bleed or cry, and this stoic attitude has earned her the nickname of Winter Rose.
Phoebe is usually all business, but very competent and efficient at what she does. Although she seems very callous and unapproachable, an attitude she takes to keep people from wasting her time for frivolous reasons, she
works hard to ensure the safety and well being of the common people. She cares a lot about appearances, for she considers it her duty to make a favorable impression of her family's name, to bring glory to her king, and to
bring shame or dishonor to both would be unthinkable. She is also very brave, standing fast when the others around would turn and run.
Appearance: Phoebe would be rather nondescript but for her striking presence and above average looks. She has dark hair, silvery eyes, a fair complexion, and an average build.
She has a rather musical voice, a trait she shares with her eldest brother, but she seldom raises it loud enough for anyone to realize this, often speaking in low tones or whispers. She tends to move very gracefully,
seeming to serenly float over the ground at times, and her head is always held proudly high no matter how dire circumstances may be.
Weapon/Magic: Although she is a fair marksman with the bow, where Phoebe's talent really shines is with her Rapier. She is an incredible fencer, and her stoic nature and serene movements
only aid her in this; making her difficult to read and difficult to react to as she seems to slide her weapon through an opponent's defenses with uncanny ease. She has a basic knowledge of light magic which she justifies as a means to be able to deal with supernatural enemies and to offer a little aid when healers are scarce.
History: Phoebe is the third of four children, and only daughter, of a well known and respected knight in Central. However, her family was seemingly beset by troubles. Her eldest brother, Bertram, showed little
interest in the family's title, and instead of following in his Father's footsteps he turned to artistic pursuits, eventually becoming a famous musician until his heart was broken and he took his own
life from the grief. Her second oldest brother, Alexander, was rebellious and belligerent, and he caused a lot of problems for their family. He liked to spend his time tomenting little animals, and playing pranks on
the servants, until one day he crossed the line when one of pranks caused serious harm to several people. Their father finally decided to put his foot down and punnish his son, but this only infuriated
the young man, who stormed out of the family estate and eventually became the leader of pack of fierce bandits. Phoebe's younger brother, Timmothy, is much like Phoebe herself, however she sheltered him from a lot of
the troubles caused her older brothers, so he is a lot more innocent and carefree than she is.
Phoebe herself was the one that ended up taking up the mantle of her family name. She was quick to realize that Bertram was too gentle and too obsessed with his arts for the job, and Alexander was far too unruly and would surely
have shamed their name if he'd even showed any interet in serving under the King. So she took it upon herself to take their place at her father's side. Though he had many well founded reservations about allowing her to enter into
military service, Timmothy was far too young and inexperienced, and it was expected that he would train at least one of his children. Thus Phoebe's training began at a young age, and her father introduced her to many of the family
secrets of fencing. She might have trained fanatically if her father had not also insisted that she must also groom herself into a fine lady as well. Since the house lacked a strong male heir, it was her responsibility to attract
someone worthy of that title. Though Phoebe has displayed little interest in men thus far, several young men from well standing families such as hers have shown a considerable interest in her. However, her austere nature also tends
to keep these would-be suitors at bay. Phoebe was initiated into the army as a low ranking officer due to her father's influence, and the training she recieved from him was considered to be the equivalent of the standard millitary regimen.
However, she was not in the service long before rumors of her errant brother's attrocities started to spread. Because her father was aging and prone to sickness, she was granted leave to pursue her brother and bring him to justice.
She managed to track him down once, but he attacked from a cowardly position, and killed the servants her father had sent to keep an eye on her. Phoebe herself managed to escape unscathed, but was forced to retreat to tend the last
of her followers, who later died. Since then she has been unable to track down her rogue brother, and has wandered far and wide hoping to find rumors of his whereabouts. Six months have passed since she set out after her brother.
[Ok, sorry about the length here, but a lot of the character is based on the situation with the family, so I wanted to make sure I mapped it out first. Anyways, I made this character in collaboration with Dreadicon again, intending to hook her up with Fin at some point.]
