Looking for a Secret

[Alastar]

Alastar carefully glided through the sands for Katara, watching for anything suspicious. After about ten miles he came across a series of stone houses.

Alastar carefully approached the houses, his hand nudging the top of his sword. It was quiet, nobody seemed to be around. So, Alastar made his way through the houses, looting whatever he could, but suddenly he heard the pounding of feet against the sand. It was no ordinary pounding though, it was the pounding of the Amriel Horse.

As Alastar made his way into the small town, someone else was following him-someone by the name of Whip. Nobody knew what he was doing around Tekrikri, not even him! Nevertheless, the desert rat was here and just as he popped his head out of the sand, he found himself behind a rock. Whip sniffed at the rock-somebody was near!

As he climbed up to the top of the rock, which jutted about two or three feet into the air, he could faintly see someone looking around in the houses. Whip began to follow him along from the top of the houses. He didn't have any interest in what he saw so far, even with so many shiny things around. However, when the Amriel Horse appeared, Whip hid behind a wall. He didn't know what it was, but he didn't have a good feeling about it...
