Abilities:
Competent (adequate but not exceptional) with a sword, good negotiating skills.
Personality:
Bran has a natural desire to explore, but occasionally feels conflicted between this and a sense of duty to his mother. He is helpful and friendly but emotionally reserved, which can lead to a negative first impression when people mistake him for being aloof or apathetic. If something angers him enough his bottled-up emotions can burst out with over dramatic ferocity.
Appearance:
He is 5ft 6 tall, with light green-brown eyes and auburn hair cut short. His light-coloured skin often develops a few freckles during summer months when exposed to the sun, and he tries to keep clean-shaven but usually has light stubble. Clothing-wise, Bran normally wears a loose white linen shirt with a slightly thicker light brown sleeveless shirt left unbuttoned over the top, with and dark grey trousers and sturdy boots. Sometimes he will wear a dark brown jacket and usually pushes the sleeves up his arms. For accessories he wears a slightly tarnished bronze pendant on black leather string (given to him by his mother when he left home) and on his right wrist is a brown leather cuff and a faded orangey-red thin cloth bracelet.
Weapons/Magic:
Steel short sword plus a small dagger. Plus a bit of luck.
History:
Bran comes from a small village in North Ideitess. His father was a soldier and died when Bran was still very young (and consequently Bran has no memory of him), and his mother scraped a living making and repairing clothing. Knowing that she could not support him as he grew, Bran's mother arranged for him to leave the village when he was 14, as there were limited opportunities to make a living there, and he became apprenticed to a travelling merchant. He has spent the past two years developing basic fighting skills due to the occasional need to protect the trade goods in the absence of militia or hired guards, and has also learnt basic reading/writing skills, and his hard work has kept him physically fit. He hopes that the day he becomes financially independent will be very soon.
(( Note: I know he is apprenticed to a merchant in the biography, but I intend that to change pretty quickly... Like, in the first RP post. Again, I hope this is okay; just yell if it isn't or ask any questions you need to. ))
