Personality: Quiet, very shy and reserved, especially around grown-ups but also around other children who find him weird in a way they can't explain.
Appearance:
Karel is small for his age, both in height and build and could be easily mistaken for nine or maybe ten. He has long, sun streaked, sandy-brown hair that often hides his sad green eyes. In fact, his hair is long enough, that in combination with his soft features and small build he could possibly be mistaken for a girl.
His clothing is plain and simple; usually consisting of a sleeveless jacket with a fur collar and a pair of long, loose fitting shorts. What looks like bandages are wrapped around his belly, from just below his ribs to somewhere below his shorts which are held up by a pair of belts. Another bandage like wrap of cloth covers his left arm from the elbow down to his hand and over this is a tough hide arm guard. His right hand is wrapped as well but only up to the wrist. From a length of cord around his neck, hangs a small 'tear-drop' shaped, blue green stone that occasionally seems to glow softly. More often then not he goes barefoot.

History: Karel doesn't remember his name, his parents, or where he comes from, except that it's somewhere in the temperate zone.
Other Note: Karel either can't, or won't talk. If needed he uses telepathy to communicate thoughts, feelings and mental images.
