Because NPC characters are not normal characters, and normal members are allowed to create them, there are rules to follow when interacting with them.
] An NPC cannot exist in a post, in an RP thread, where another playable character that belongs to the NPC's owner is not present. For example, I cannot post in an RP from the view of an NPC without having one of my characters there. I must have a character there of mine, too.
] You cannot fight an NPC that is listed on our NPC list without asking first. Don't even try. You can only fight NPCs you make up yourself, such as 'random victims'.
] Just as any one character can only be in one place, an NPC can only actively be in one place in the same manner.
] If you wish to speak to an NPC, you can try going to the place they reside and starting a thread where you describe you seeking the person. Alternatively, the NPC may be active at another place and you could join an RP to speak to them.
