Human
Humans have been on Riiga longer than any other race, make up almost ¾ of the world’s population, and are divided into three main groups, all listed below.
Central / Human* treijim.penscribbles.com/Wiki/Races/Humans/CentralHumans.html
Ruled by General Talos.
The humans that dwell on the central continents – a.k.a. Central – are the original humans and there are more living in the middle than in the east or the west. Central humans are ruled by a force known as The Guards – a large collection of soldiers stationed at almost every town that are all under the rule of a single general in Lyte. The Guards oppose all other military powers, big and small, in the central continents. Central humans live in a variety of places, from the snow up north, to the deserts further south, to the green fields and farmlands in the middle, and to the mountains further east and the wastelands in the west.
East / Human* treijim.penscribbles.com/Wiki/Races/Humans/EastHumans.html
Ruled by King Sigmund.
The majority of humans in the East have been divided into kingdoms, each with their own lord and castle, all under the rule of a king. The rest of the east humans live further north and live in a giant archipelago-like area and call themselves pirates, sieging pirates of the opposition. The ones who live in castles fare war with each other, though the lands are in peace most of the time. Most wars are started by the jealous and greedy lords. The king is seen as a just and honourable man. Unlike the central humans, easterners are adept at riding horses, whereas central humans use infantry.
West / Human* treijim.penscribbles.com/Wiki/Races/Humans/WestHumans.html
Ruled by King Cyril.
There are fewest humans in the West. They mostly live up the north end either in the main city or one of the surrounding villages, or down south under the protection of the emperor and his palace. Up north they are led by a single king and their only enemy is the god Garukavar, who lives nearby. Down south, the emperor is less worried about affairs of gods and because of his distant nature the southwest is considered rather static. Even the city in the middle of the desert there has been long abandoned, though it was once a great city of science and inventions.
Gruitin / Werewolf (grey)* treijim.penscribbles.com/Wiki/Races/Animal_Hybrids/Gruitin.html
It is unlikely Gruitin need much of a description. The Gruitin of Riiga, though seldom considered a race, do not change back and forth between human and wolf form. Instead, they are another hybrid between animal and human. Gruitin are divided into two categories: The ones in the forests that steal and attack humans, and the ones that are caught and sold as slaves – the latter being a common occurrence in Varoicca. They live in caves and sleep wherever they can. It’s been estimated that Gruitin won’t be around within a hundred years.
Sirin / Werewolf (red)* treijim.penscribbles.com/Wiki/Races/Human_Hybrids/Sirins.html
Ruled by Rece and Tlar.
Sirins are a sub-race of Truebloods and they began when the Truebloods were driven from mainland Huirnon. The ones who remained behind no longer gained the blessing granted by their worship rituals and so resulted in the Sirins seem today. They look like people but are covered head to toe in short brown fur, have red-orange hair, blue eyes, and as well as this they have small fangs, claws, and a bushy tail. They paint red markings onto themselves. They have two elders that lead them and they live in the snow and ice in the village of Hluff. They are used to very cold climates. Most Sirins can use either a sword or a spear and are very athletic and fast. They usually wear the traditional tiger stripe open jacket as well as green or blue clothes.
Keid ** treijim.penscribbles.com/Wiki/Races/Humans/Keid.html
Ruled by Buroba.
Keid are not to be confused with humans. Though they look similar to a commoner, Keid only live in a humid jungle south of Tasif, they all have brown hair and tan skin and they dress very simply. They wield bows and most have a natural ability to utilise wind, as their leader is a wind spirit who turned away from Garukavar’s ways. A Keid bow is distinctive because any arrows shot from it can be controlled by the archer. This makes fighting Keid in a dense jungle very dangerous. Arrows can come from anywhere at anytime – even if you know where your enemy stands. Keid defend their jungle from Fanorans.
Ildemin / Wereanimal* treijim.penscribbles.com/Wiki/Races/Human_Hybrids/Ildemin.html
Ildemin, in short, are like werewolves yet more human again. In fact, Ildemin are considered ‘accidents’. They seem as humans with animal features like fangs, claws, sometimes fur, paws, and tails. Sometimes an Ildemin will have all, and sometimes only one of these features. They are mostly part cat or dog and usually the domestic kind. Most Ildemin are good mercenaries and work for money doing sometimes dangerous missions for people. Whereas those who do not make a living never survive. Humans look down on Ildemin with spite.
