Tern crossed his arms over his chest and looked at the point of Aran's spear for a moment. "Just thought I'd give you a friendly warning." He said with a grin. "If you keep following that Deer, you'll end up somewhere you aren't supposed to go." He paused a moment perhaps for effect. "You're Sirin, I can't be sure they'd give you the chance to leave. At the least they'll want to know how you got there."
Tern then looks to Kaian and chuckles. "You might, or you might be confusing me with someone else."

Kaian pushed his way in front of Aran; to stand almost nose to nose with Tern. "Look buddy!" This sudden burst of confidence and a bit of foolishness raced around Kaian's body "You better stop speaking so mysterifingly and start speaking proper like me and my buddy, and answer our questions." Aran pushed back infront of Kaian just to be lectured by him once more.
"...and you, bloody 'lets go track a deer' are just as bad getting us lost and now 'them' won't be happy!!" Kaian finally realised what he had just done and said, and saw Sirin that were much older, faster and stronger than him staring back angrily. Kaian just smiled and stepped back to his original position.

Aran looked from Tern to Kaian, a little perplexed. "How we got there? Where is there? How do I know that you're not just trying to hide some secret stash of something? I don't know you. I don't want to trust you." He paused and scowled, "You don't look like one of us."
He turned to Kaian. "Stay away from this one," he said. "Something isn't right..."

Tern looked past Kaian shifting his weight slightly to one side. "Because of the way I'm dressed, Aran?" He asked with a slight smile as he revealed he knew their names, or at least Aran's. "You might not know me, but I know you, you're Nari's friend. Him being interested in secret stashes I can imagine but I got the impression you were more... mature." The strange Sirin didn't bother taking a step back from Kaian while he spoke past him to Aran. "To be honest, you're right. I might be hiding a secret stash of something."
He then turned his attention back to Kaian after the slightly younger Sirin stepped back. "My name's Tern, since you're wondering who I am. I did answer your questions, Kaian. Aran asked what I wanted, I said I was warning you to stay clear of a certain place. You seem to recognise me so, I've said who I am." He paused a moment relaxing his stance and resting his hands on his hips. "And if you think I'm speaking mysterifingly you haven't spoken to Elders much, they can be really mysterifing."

[Phew, you don't make this easy. ] Kaian stepped forward again to stand next to Tern "Um... you know if you do have a um... stash could you give me um... some." Said Kaian, sweetalk was never his strongpoint. "Cos you know um.. I did stay clear of the path and I have done what you have said," Kaian twisted his body so his lips were pressed against Terns ear " Not like him, Aran, he just keeps asking questions not like me." Kaian put the sweetest smile he could on his face; but he eneded up looking like a pyscho. He spun back to his original position and put two thumbs up at Aran, but he just stared through him. [Boy thats bad]

Aran maintained his aggressive posture, remaining quite apprehensive of this strange Sirin. He tightened the grip on his spear.
"Whatever this certain place is, I'm going there, just to make sure you're not up to no good..." He glared at Tern some before looking to Kaian. "Don't whisper things to him. He'll think you're his friend. He doesn't have any friends."

Tern rolled his eyes a bit at Kaian and shook his head as he growled something strange half under his breath.
When Aran tightened the grip he had on his spear the strange Sirin youth crouched low then sprang into the air and flipped backwards after athletically swinging around a low tree branch. He landed some distance back down the path in a low crouch and scraped an ark in the earth with his claws. For a moment a slight purpleish glow seemed to come from certain patches on the hand and forearm he had used to scratch the ground and then a blue-black fog seemed to form around him close to his body. The fog expanded out a short distance for a moment. "I will hurt you both if I have to." He growled and for just a moment it sounded like his voice was coming from everywhere at once. The strange fog swirled, there was a slight huff or rush of air and he was gone.
Barely two heartbeats later he reappeared and grabbed Aran - obviously the greatest threat since he had a spear and was ready to use it - from behind in a fairly strong grip, almost a headlock, with his claws at the slightly older Sirin's throat. The strange blue-black fog still seemed to cling to him in places.
"You want to see the place I told you to stay away from. You might even know it already... then well go. But, if another Guardian turns up and one probably will, I caught you both snooping around." He looked over at Kaian. "We clear?"

Kaian's goofy smile broke down into a peircing scowl; he arched his back, dropped his chin to his chest and sighed. He wasn't a clever chap and still couldn't work out is Tern was a friend or foe.
Kaian mubled something into his chest, Tern turned his gaze to Kaian, still grasping Aran by the neck.
"Let...him...go!" He panted, the rage building in his voice. He lifted is head with fire burning in his eyes, he was getting more aggitated each of his claws lit up with a small orange flame, he repeated the words once again but with more force; he practically spat them out.
Tern still seemed to ignore Kaian and spoke his words once more "We clear?"
Kaian lurched himself forward, his paws ablaze, the Sirins noses touched and he growled the words once more. "LET HIM GO!!"

Aran flapped his hand downwards at Kaian discretely, as if to tell him to back off. Of course, from the looks of things, Aran didn't have the situation under control but his expression told otherwise.
"Take me there anyway," he said after a pause. He did not question Tern about the use of the word 'Guardian', but it didn't seem to scare him... Or if he did, he didn't let it show. He tensed his fists, not letting go of the spear, and waiting for Tern to let go.

Tern grinned and barked a slight chuckle when Kaian 'lit up' and came at him, though Aran was technically between the two of them.
"Fire magic and a quick temper. You'll want to be careful." He paused a moment and turned his mouth to Aran's ear, "Might want to keep an eye in that one, Aran." He didn't seem the least bit put off by Kaian's flaming paws though he did release his hold on Aran, but not completely, before nodding toward the path he'd appeared from. "That way."
Clearly Tern wasn't going to risk getting a spear in the back by giving them the opportunity to turn on him while they followed him to the place and apparently he wanted Kaian ahead of him as well. Probably being cautious of the younger Sirin's apparently short temper.
