Srafel raised up his cloak and fell to one knee, so as to maintain a fortified stance. The debris smashed against him but he seemed unphased as he threw his cloak back and ran forth again, this time swinging widely towards the creature's legs.

Diving above Srafel, the Stalker latched onto the cieling, and swung over him. Not without recieving a flash of steel to it's Shin, causing a spraying of blood to stain the snow. Landing on one knee, the Stalker cradled it's ankle, ferrying snow into the wound to stem the bleeding. Turning to Srafel with rage, it leapt from all fours like a rabid cat, and attempted to swat the Avatar's arms to the wall.

Srafel whirled about swiftly, dodging the beast's swipes and grabbing its side in the process. His arm was glowing with a brilliant white for a moment and then a tremendous crackling filled the room. A surge of electricity shot through the beast. As its whole body would have immediately contracted from the shock, Srafel stood tall and turned to Weiss.
"That was enough to burn and fuse inner body tissue, disrupt its heart and lungs, cause blackout, induce muscle spasms, or even destroy parts of the nervous system. I hope you realise that this is no game. Death is the only outcome for you now."
[There are more effects to being struck with the power of a lightning bolt, but I thought you got the gist of it]

Weiss watched with mild amusement as another of the endagered, yet ultra-aggressive beasts was put to darkness. Before choffing at Srafel's denial. Srafel's Denial for his blatant righteousness. Without words, he swept the Ice under him and rose up into the blizzard, destroying what was left of this 'extension work' in the process. "You are blind Srafel! As are all followers of the Temple! They have fallen! The world needs a new image, a new leader. A new ruler even. Your gods are not them to be! You are blind, and I shall make you see boy!" Between his rantings Weiss had incoherently whisked icicles towards the ground, likely pincushioning the snow, although he had overlooked the impressively magical limb that Srafel possessed...

[This was a little confusing. What is Srafel's denial? Is the extension work all of the new part to the tower? Were the icicles aimed at Srafel?]
Some of the icicles struck Srafel, and he staggered a little, but then he plucked them out and tossed them aside.
"I do not know what fairytales you grew up hearing," Srafel began, "but the gods are not flawed. Their will and their actions are what is and what was meant to be, and it is not you to decide or pretend to understand. What you are speaking comes from your weak human mind, and not from any form of greatness."
He jumped and found footing on a piece of ice that stuck out from the tower, continuing, "No, you will never see greatness, and no mortal ever will. Greatness is what you tremble to conceive as infinite. Your words are of weakness and error, so that is where you will go."
He jumped out and aimed a dangerous vertical slice at Weiss.

[Weiss = angry aetheist I guess. He believes the gods no longer exist, and of course, Srafel believes/knows they do, yes? I'm just looking for an excuse to shelve this character.]
Through his maddened barrage of ice, Wiess had but the time to look straight up, and catch Srafels blade partly with his hand, and partly with his forehead. Srafel and Weiss ended up looking each other in the eye. The old mans wound was gradually... freezing. But he wasn't looking the better for it. "Srafel... if your gods are those of greatness. Where are they to vouch for themselves, hm?" A few gasps later, and Weiss' body began to convulse. "Don't you think they'd p-pay attention to their own temple?" With his final reprimand of the gods, Weiss threw Srafel back, sword and all, leaving a glistening wound. With a final howl of agony, Weiss' body gave forth a frightful burst of light, and a crashing of Ice. When the noise and light had ceased, Weiss' was no longer a human being. But a shaft of ice. A motionless body sealed within a spiralling crystal. The old magi of frost had submitted to an eternal coma in the cold. But what he had done... the beasts, the unholy ice temple, and his spite of the true temple, would haunt him and Srafel yet.
[Can you close this for me? I'm more interested in the other stories than this one.]

Srafel missed his footing and landed on his back, but he was in no rush to get up. Srafel stared at the swirling ice above, thoughtful, relieved, and slightly weary. Finally, he stood, and he observed the shaft of ice. A satisfied yet humble smile crept onto his face, and he bowed his head in condolence for the old man's loss of humanity.
He held an open palm to the frozen magi.
"This is," he began, and he closed his hand around a snowflake, "how the gods vouch for themselves."
And he turned and left, and did not look back.
