Ethan sighed. "Alright, sorry." Ethan said, letting his emotions subside. "Sorry. Now let me down and give me my strength back please."

Karel easily scanned Ethan's mind to see if he was telling the truth.

He then turned back away from the Fountain and set the older boy back on his feet. ~There, but if you try to hurt me again, Ethan, you're going in the fountain. I mean it.~ Said the telepathic voice determinedly.

Ethan smiled. "Alright. Enough with the d**n telepathy." he snapped.

Stretching and yawning he leaned against a wall. "Do I have my strength back yet?"

Karel frowned but nodded his head a few times. "Ii.. It's... ea..." He stammered at length, it took him a few minutes just to say that much then sat down on the edge of the fountain in a huff.

He glared at Ethan and the older boy would not only feel that his strength was back, but more than what he had, not only that but he was heavier too.

Ethan frowned as he suddenly felt different, heavier. Suddenly the wall behind him groaned, cracked, and collapsed. He fell tumbled backwards and landed on his back, hard. And when he landed, the surrounding area rumbled a little. "What the hell?" he exclaimed loudly, and slowly stood.

He reached down and scooped up a large chunk of debris like it was a small pebble, and walked to the fountain, holding it in one hand. Every step he took, an audible *THUMP* went through the ground. And he left footprints in the stone. "I seem to suddenly of become very strong and very heavy. I assume you have something to do with this Karel?" he asked.

He set the rock down and looked over to Karel. "Continue to play with attributes of me, I really don't care. This is kinda cool actually." he said.

Karel laughed loudly when the wall collapsed behind Ethan.

He shrugged a bit, "Mm-mm-may..." again it too him 'forever' to just get those sounds past his lips. ~Maybe.~ He finished telepathically perhaps that's why he relied on it. He concentrated for a moment this time then 'said', ~Walk back to the wall.~

This time Ethan would find himself light enough that he'd be quiet when he moved and wouldn't leave a trace of footprints.

Ethan walked back to the wall, this time though he was walking as though he was on air. Every step he took, he obviously touched the ground, but it made no sound and he couldn't feel it. He jumped and jumped about two feet into the air. Far more than he could ever do before.

But he was still massively strong. He scooped up debris like it was nothing and crushed it down to dust with a couple kicks and punches. When he was done he turned back to KArel. "I love being this strong. I guess it's much better to be friendly to you."

Karel nodded his head then closed his eyes for a moment, almost looking slightly sleepy. In that moment Ethan would feel himself quickly return to normal.

~Sorry,~ said the Telepathic voice, some what quietly this time, ~I can't make it permanent. It only lasts as long as I concentrate. Doing it to someone else takes more effort.~ He sat there for a few minutes with his head down apparently resting for a bit.

[Eric]

Ethan grinned. "Which is why I have this." he said and pulled out a small gem. "Allows all psychic effects to remain permanent as long as the psychic wants them to remain. You don't have to concentrate, just decide when to turn off the effects. I have to be in possession of the gem though."

(yeah Treijim thought of no such thing, but I did. Maybe Ethan made it)

Karel opened his eyes and looked at the gem slightly puzzled, with his head tilted - some might say cutely - to one side.

~Can I see closer?~ Asked the voice in Teran's head, in an amazed 'little kid' kind of tone. ~It's yours, I won't take it,~ the voice added, ~I just want to see it closer.~ A pause. ~Please?~ He extended his hand slightly towards Ethan.

Ethan shrugged and dropped it in his hand. "There. When you're done lookin' could you give it back and then do one of the modifications to me. Primarily the strength back."

Karel didn't spend much time looking at the gem, he turned it around in his hand a few times but then closed his hand around it. He then bowed his head, closed his eyes and concentrated for a long while. At least he was quiet enough to suggest that's what he might have been doing.

Eventually he opened his eyes and held his open hand out so Ethan could take the stone back, it was now glowing faintly blue like the stone he wore around his neck. "T-t-tr-y... N-n-no-w" He managed to get out without using his telepathy.

On taking the stone back, Ethan would notice the strength was back but also that he quickly grew a few inches taller and bulked up some to match, but stayed athletic

Ethan smiled at the surge of strength through his body, but also noticed something else. His clothes seemed a little tighter, and he seemed to be a couple inches taller. Karel was about nose height before, now he was chin height. "I'm taller too. Can you make me grow even larger?"

Karel looked Ethan up and down, smiling a bit - could he be checking the older boy out? ~Probably, but your clothes would all stretch and rip.~ He answered telepathically. ~They already look tight on you.~

He stood and moved closer, timidly reaching out a hand to touch the older boy's chest or arm. His expression suggesting he was being himself, a little kid who's wondering what it's like to be older and stronger. ~Can I?~
