Deshin nodded and smiled slightly. "My teachers say I'm very good." He says a little proudly then stops at a door and touches a hand to it.
"Through here, the guards are a sleep." He announced after a moment or two then slowly and quietly pushed the door open, looked both ways, then eased himself through the gap.

Antrosia looked both ways to and then eased through the gap herself. Some of the guards were snoring and blocked out whatever noise her feet made when sneaking. Antrosia walked up behind Deshin and leaned down. "Where are we going?" Antrosia whispered into his ear.

Deshin doesn't answer until they've crossed the room and eased out into the courtyard. "Uh, Into the castle of course, that's where you wanted to go, right?" In the courtyard he actually does try to stick to the shadows and keep his voice down.

"Yes, yes it is." Antrosia answered, continuing to sneak across the walls. When they were close to the main door Antrosia spoke. "Say, does Lord Tobias have any children?" She said it not directly to Deshin but meant for him to answer.

Deshin shrugged his shoulders, a fluid graceful movement, "If he does, I haven't met them." He says quite casually. "I'm just the son of a merchant. Sure I'm a mage but I'm not really that important."
He continued on his way skirting around the shadowed part of the courtyard towards the nearest way into the castle, a side door possibly used by servants.

"Oh, ok then." Antrosia answered as she followed Deshin through the servents door. On the otherside of the door was a large kitchen. Ovens, benches and tables everywhere, as well as all sorts of cookery apparutus. There was stairs that went up ahead of them and the kitchen was spread put to the right, with two doors at the end. "Well, we're in the castle now... so which way do we go, Deshin?"

Deshin pointed at the two doors. "Those lead to store rooms and such." He then headed for the stairs but rather then heading up them right away he stopped beside them, peeking up around the corner and then reaching his hand up along one wall. In the darkness of the stairway it was hard to see, but a bug scuttled from somewhere and then headed off further up the stairs.
"We're clear to about half way up then there might be some guards."

[Joining with Ignatius]
In one of the store rooms was a man rummaging through a barrel quietly. He was looking quite frantically, but his face was blank and his movements were quick and sharp. When he reached the bottom, he thumped his fist to the wood, probably loud enough for anyone outside the door to hear, and he threw everything back in the barrel and headed for the door, going to open it.

Antrosia looked to her right quickly on the way to the stairs and stopped. "What was that noise, Deshin?" She whispered. Deshin was also looking at the far end of the room. "I'm going to hide." Antrosia quickly head for a shadowed corner behind the stairs and crouched there.

Deshin gestured with his hands, finishing in a clasping movement and the shadows in the corner that Antrosia was in formed deeper tendrils of darkness that wrapped around the Assassin to give her better cover. Other shadows in the room also formed inky creeping tendrils of darkness, some working their way towards the two doors.
"Who's there?" The teen asked in his best officious, yet slightly bored tone.

Ignatius opened the door to see a youth standing there in the open, looking somewhat inconspicuous. Before speaking, he looked around the room, fixing his white eyes onto every corner of the room -- even the corners of the ceiling. He then walked next to Deshin and looked up the staircase.
"I didn't know he had sent people down this far," he said quietly. "Unless, of course, you're of the traitorous inclination." He looked down at Deshin. "Am I wrong?"

Antrosia was still hidden in the dark shadows of the stairs, waiting. Antrosia wondered who this other man was, though she couldn't see him. His voice sounded very wise and powerful, and she thought about what he said.

Deshin's reply was just as quiet as Ignatius' question, in fact his voice only carried as far as the tall white eyed man suggesting that sound was being somehow dampened.
"I didn't know that he was sending anyone to check on me." He smiled slightly. "I usually get told if other agents will be around before I go into an area." He pauses a moment and glances toward where he knows Antrosia to be lurking. "We probably shouldn't say too much more here."

"Indeed," Ignatius said, standing tall again. "I'm not here to check up on you, though. I lost a... a trinket of mine. You haven't happend to have seen an ebony ring, would you? If a castle member finds it before we do, chaos will break out. They will know The Enemy is present."

Antrosia squinted hard at the shadows of the floor beneath her. She heard the man say something about The Enemy. She had heard rumors about a great evil force, but she figured there must be some link between this man, Deshin and maybe The Enemy as well. She kept still and quite and hoped the man wouldn't find her.
