A gentle voice like a crystal chime echoed through the room, "Sooreh khah hkampeh sor."
Nari jumped and Amarion quickly turned to look at the shaft of light. There was a silence, and then the voice came again, saying the same thing in the same tone.
"I don't know that language," Amarion said, knowing Fin would have expected him to somehow translate.
"It's not Sirin," said Nari. "What's the point of bringing us here if she doesn't speak our language?"
"My apologies," said the same voice, though now in clear (though accented) english. "I did not realise you were incapable of communicating through the ancient, though by your attire and stature, I should have assumed thus."
There was a pause and Amarion frowned as he realised he was insulted. Then he spoke, "Who are you?"
Suddenly, there was a woman standing under the light. She was not overly tall nor heavily built like the men, but she had the same crimson mane and thick fur, and her eyes were strong and focussed. She was looking at Fin.
"I am Sarkha, and I am Leuvana. You are Fin, yes? Speak quickly. I am not feeling particularly patient at this moment."
[I'm basically writing a story here, lol]

Fin had knelt at her appearance, he somehow knew it was her. There were so many things he had wished to ask her, and he had rehearsed them countless times before, but now it all seemed pointless.
After a moment, Fin got the courage to speak. "Forgive my rudeness, great Leuvana. I seek to become a Priest who follows your will. I may be a human, but I seek to serve you still. I humbly ask to know what you wish of those who would follow you, and how you wish the world to be." In his mind, there were many more questions he wished to add, but dared not ask more of her.

She scowled at him and said, "You cannot become a priest of mine. Your blood is impure and untrue." She paused and drew a breath, continuing with a gentler tone. "However, if you wish to lend your life to my cause, you must aid those who aid me, and they, in turn, shall aid you."
She lifted her head and gazed up at the light, and as the light caught her eyes, they shone a brilliant blue like a sea on a cloudless day.
"My world," she began, "is not the world Nikina fights for. He wants the world to grow, whereas I simply want to maintain a controlled state. I suppose you could say that I prefer instilling order to fighting chaos. But you have more questions. What is it you want to know?"
