[You are... I guess.. ] Aaron stood calmly and held his arms out towards Alden, wrists together, apparently accepting of being placed under arrest. "It's not one of mine." He said calmly weather Alden was listening or not. "I came with a score quiver [that's 20 arrows]. And the fletching is different. I fletch my arrows myself."

"Of course it's not one of your arrows," Alden said. "That would be too obvious."
He took Aaron's wrists in his hands with an unusually strong grip and slapped him in irons.
[Leotyne Castle Dungeon now. No need to change threads 'cos it's basically the same area]
Aaron was locked in a cell in a dark and dank room deep in the dungeon immediately after being returned to the castle. It seemed as though nobody had to hear any story. He was just locked up.

Aaron crossed his legs, rested his hands in his lap, closed his eyes and focused on his thoughts. Normally he could do this for hours. In this situation he'd just have to try it and see. [heh.. limit's schmits, can't do much in a cell now can I? ]

There was a man in the cell beside Aaron. He didn't even bother to look around the prison when he was thrown in so he didn't see the large number of people locked up.
"Another one," the man said, leaning against the bars with his shoulders. "He got you too, did he?"

Aaron didn't answer the man in the next cell for quite some time, he was meditating for probably an hour or more - kind of rude actually from some people's point of view.
Eventually the archer opened his eyes and looked to the man. "Yes." He replied quite simply. "Poor set-up too, in my opinion."

"Poorly set-up or no, you were got," the man said with a snicker. "But don't worry, we were all got... Believe you me, if we were let out of here, we'd show Alden a thing or two. You've heard the rumours haven't you?"
He didn't wait for Aaron to respond, but went on anyway. "Alden has hidden Prince Lance himself and used it as an excuse to draw soldiers from all over to him. Then he locks them all up in here after he sets us up. Do you see a single soldier of Leotyne in this castle? That's right, you don't. Alden, or Lord Radcliff, or someone is trying to turn us all against one another..."

Aaron looked around at the cells he could see, though he didn't move from his meditative sitting position on the floor. "No. You're right. I don't." He then closed his eyes again apparently practising a series of hand movements, one of those familiar often done tasks that someone might do to focus their concentration.
An archer might recognise the movements as those of fixing fletchings to an arrow in a specific pattern, something a team of well organised archers might do in order to identify their kills after a battle.
"I expect most of us won't be overly missed either." He said eventually.

"Maybe. Maybe not. Important people don't go doing jobs made for mercs, so anyone Alden frames is probably not important. No offence."
He stood and went to the other side of the cell. Unlike the other prisoners, this man seemed to have lots of energy, as though he was only locked up very recently.
"I can't stand this. I gotta try and get out." He looked back towards Aaron. "You look like the smart type. Any ideas?"

"None taken." Aaron said as he finally stood after several minutes and did a circuit of his cell. "Well, considering the walls are stone like everything else around here..." He started but his words trailed off and he smiled as he sat again. "Yes. Though your eagerness for me to suggest something troubles me somewhat."

"My eagerness for you to suggest my trouble of... what? Bah, nevermind. I'm gonna break out of here myself. Just you watch. They say Leotyne is the castle of secret passages."
Either cleverly or stupidly, he began to press each and every stone within reach of his cell, in hopes that one would act as an activator.

Watched for a moment but then got up, "Well I doubt any would be..." His words trailed off and he started pressing stones as well. You never know, after all, if you have enough passages in a building there's a chance there'll be one or two oversights.

About half an hour later, the man stopped.
"Oh, wait. I've gone over these, eheh." He turned to Aaron and went to talk but as he did someone in the cell on the other side of Aaron spoke.
"You're both fools for trying," said a dark man with a sharp tone. "There are no passages in these cells - only in the high-security portion of the prison, and even then you won't open any doors by touching stones." He stayed where he was in the shadow but it was clear he was now looking at Aaron. "Sir Alden isn't himself... He's a good man." He backed away a little deeper into darkness. "I know you want to break free, Aaron. You want to break free and run away and forget about all this. Well, you can."

Aaron fixed his attention on the darkness, even if he couldn't see the figure there. "I'm not keen on being confined, I'm used to the outdoors." He corrected. "That doesn't mean I want to run away and forget. I have a duty to report this to my Captain."

"Come on. You're not that stupid. If you report this, you're doing exactly what Alden or whoever is his superior wants. They want to create conflict. If your duty is to report it, the duty of your Captain is to take appropriate action."
The man walked to the other end of the cell, now attracting the attention of all the prisoners.
"I advise you all to keep your mouths shut. I can break us free, and then you must all forget about this. I'm on your side. Do you all want to be set free or do you all want to rot in here?"

Aaron smiles a bit. "I said I had a duty to report. I didn't say what I had to report." He says a little cockily. "Fine, if the better course is to keep this quite then that's what I'll do."
The youth walked to the front of his cell as well. "So what's the plan?"
