She opened the hatch and there was a surplus amount of food. She tossed the boy some bread, cheese ( preserved though cold climate of the area), and crackers. She said, "Tell me if you want something different kid."(She knows he won't talk but knows by emotions shown that he likes/disliked stuff by his face) She was happy that the kid was hopefully going to get better.

Aran saw the handle of the door rattle without the kid even touching it, but he said nothing as he knew she didn't notice it. He took a little bit of the food and began to eat some himself, leaving the rest to the boy, knowing he would be starving.
"You didn't answer me," he said to the other Sirin. "Your name is Sirena, isn't it? I don't see you around the village much."

The kid didn't seem to mind what was retrieved from the basement. He grabbed at the bread and ripped off a huge chunk and held it close to himself, the same with the cheese.
He ate quickly and hungrily keeping a close eye on both Sirin and his food. This combined with the way he held the food close to his chest, may suggest to both Sirin that not only hadn't he eaten in a while but the last time he had he may have had to fight for what he got, or at some point he may have had food taken from him.
Now he was warm a few of the cuts and scrapes on his feet started to bleed, not much but enough to suggest that circulation had returned. The kid didn't seem to notice it though, he just ripped off another big chunk of bread and kept eating.

She said in a laid back tone," Yea I am Sirena, I don't like Hluff much." She noticed the boy bleeding which was a good sign. She said, " Not much in Hluff, I perfer the wilderness."

Aran nodded and looked back to the boy. Without saying anything, he reached into the pouch on his belt and pulled out a long cloth. He simply wrapped it around the boy's feet, not bothering to disinfect it. Perhaps the cloth was already soaked with some healing tonic.
"We can't bring this kid back to the village and I can't stay here for that much longer. We have to find him a place to stay. Maybe make a deal with an innkeeper here or something." He looked to the child for ideas or anything he had to say.

The kid looked down at his feet for a moment when Aran wrapped them but didn't stop him doing it. He stopped eating only for a moment as well, eating probably twice what someone might expect a child his size to eat.
~Thankyou~ said the voice in Aran's head.
He burped loudly, probably a sign he'd had enough and crawled over to the hatch while the two Sirin discussed what to do with him. He hung over the edge looking down into the basement, just his legs and behind on the floor.
~The innkeeper might try to hurt me.~ Said the voice in Aran's head. ~The last one did. He found out I was bad and hurt me when I didn't do what he wanted.~ There's also a vivid flash of what must be the kid himself, bent over someone's knee being spanked or wiped with a belt. ~I try to hide that I'm bad but people always find out.~
There was silence for a moment and he came up with a jar of preserved fruit. He sat up and wrapped his legs around the jar and tried to open it. ~I knew I couldn't go with you... right from when you found me.~

She dashed over to the boy and opened the jar for him. She said, "I really don't know what to do." After a long pause she said, "Maybe we could find a master of a trade to take care of him." "I don't trust Inn keepers, always seemed to shady for me."

"Maybe. Perhaps there's someone like him nearby," Aran suggested. "I mean... Surely he's not one of a kind. There's gotta be more people who have his prob-- his gift. I wonder if he can communicate with people like him..." He then took the jar from the boy and opened it with ease, handing it back.

Once the jar was open the kid started scooping the gooey preserve out with his fingers and licking them clean, thoroughly enjoying himself going by the sticky grin. He was still doing this, when as if on cue, right about when Aran said there had to be more people like him somewhere, he swivelled his head to look at the door. The pendant hanging round the kid's neck appeared to glow quite strongly and he quickly licked his fingers then took the stone in his hand. After a moment he got up and crossed gingerly to the door on his bandaged feet. He didn't open it, instead he pressed his hand to the wood and bowed his head. "Hello?" Came a voice from outside, not too loud, slightly concerned. It was early morning judging by the soft glow from outside and most humans weren't awake this early, especially not the elderly and this woman sounded old. There were some shuffling steps as the person moved closer to the other side of the door. "Ah, there you are dearie." Her voice was soft but still audible through the door. "You are a strong one, aren't you dear. Shhh, shh. Not so loud dear, you'll give me a headache." The kid looked to Aran, his eyes slightly wide, perhaps in surprise, then he looked to the door knob and back to Aran questioningly. He didn't wait for an answer though and opened the door. Outside the door stood an older woman, most likely someone's grandmother. The woman reaches out and ruffled the kid's hair in a clearly grandmotherly fashion as she looked from Aran to Sirena. Her attention fixed on the former, "Thankyou for helping this child. I know you didn't have to." [Ooof, it's an essay. ]

[is the rp done?] She waved good by to the kid and hoped he would be ok. This was not like her she rarely was kind to anyone. This experance gave her a new hope for sirins and humans living together.

[Pretty much yeah]
Aran stood and nodded to her, not saying anything, suddenly seeming very shy. "He... needed help. I did the best I could..." And he walked past her out into the dark of the town.

The woman rests her hand on the Kids shoulder, protectively and moves aside as Aran leaves, just letting him go. "Come on Karel," the kid blinked up at her clearly surprised and she chuckled smiling warmly at him, "yes dear. That's your name. I'm your grandmother's sister, I was there when you were born." She started to guide him away from the 'shed'. "You're going to live with me now. My wagon's nearby."
[Yep, that's a wrap. Thanks both of you.]
