[We gave you two oppurtunities to turn around and help, but okay, we will continue on our own for a bit]
Difficulty, he supported the boy with one arm and gripped the padlock with the other, using a claw to try to pick it. After about a minute of scraping metal, it clicked loudly and popped open. He yanked it off and quickly entered the shed. In the snow, it was considerably warmer. Probably because the heat could not escape the stone-walled building very easily. He placed the boy in a chair and he had clearly been here many times before because he had a lantern out and lit quite soon. A warm glow filled the darkening room as the sun set outside.
"We'll be fine here," he whispered, shuffling into a sitting position on the floor and leaning against the wall with his elbows on his knees. "Unless that madman comes back..."

It was at least a few hours before the child so much as stirred. At first it was just a shiver, then he curled up hugging his knees to his chest, or at least started to. He whimpered softly as though it almost hurt to move but that was the only sound he made aside from a sniffle or two that might suggest he had a cold.

[Joining as Sirena] She knocked at the door waiting to go in the Sirin safe house.

Aran's head perked up as he heard the knocking. He could see only darkness through the window. He sniffed the air for a moment and then asked quietly, "Who's there?" He then looked to the boy, wondering if he could use his 'magic' to see who it was.

~Another Sirin. Female~ Said the voice in Aran's head. ~Warrior~
The Boy finally managed to slip himself from the chair and half crawl, half drag himself across the floor to Aran, once there he scooted in close and curled up against his warm furry protector.

She whispered, " Do not worry I am here to rest from a long journey." She hoped that they would let her in. She was badly injured and could hardly stand up. She whispered desperately, "I am badly wounded please let me in."

Aran stared at the door from a moment and then went and opened it.
"Whoa... what happened to you? Come inside," he said, going and pulling the boy against him again to keep him warm. "Were you attacked?"

The child whimpered softly when Aran went to open the door, but that was the only sound he made, he watched slightly wide eyed when he noticed this Sirin was dressed differently to his rescuer.
There was a distinct feeling that he didn't feel safe though that passed when Aran returned to where he was and pulled him close. He rested his head on the older Sirin boy's shoulder and silently watched the female from behind his hair which had fallen across his face.

She noticed the boy was scared of her to a extent. She sat in a wooden chair and said her name was Sirena. She took a dagger out of her leg and quickly took her cloak to act as a bandage. Her arm was spurting out blood but she was oblivious to that wound. She said, I had a brush with some humans, about 20. She said sadly, "A bit of a shame that they killed a sirin and payed with there lives."
She asked, "Whats wrong with the boy?, he looks ill."

Aran waited several minutes before responding, his mind clearly elsewhere.
"He's very hungry and he's travelled far. I guess he hasn't been in a home for some time. But please, don't tell me about Sirins being killed... Not now..."
He rested his chin on the boy's head, feeling his own warmth aplified and given back in return.

The kid stays still and quiet except for the occasional sniffle followed by him wiping his nose with one hand. Perhaps too quiet and still for a kid his age. He stays snuggled up against Aran and his sad green eyes stay focused of Sirena the whole time, watching her from behind the hair that's flopped across his face.
At least he seems to be warming up finally.

She noticed the boy looking at her. She asked, "Is there any way we can get the boy food? "She said stumbling over her words, "I mean I I think I can watch the boy while you get food." She said with a sence of pride in her voice, " I will protect you or hunt for food, your choice kid."

"He either won't or can't talk," Aran said. "He... he has no way of... He can only nod and shake his head. He's not leaving my side."
His eyes drifted to the stone floor slowly as he thought of what to do. Then, they lit up.
"Of course!" he cried. "There is a basement here. It has food in it. Though it's human food, and we wouldn't like it, the kid would... surely. Could you open the hatch on the floor over there... uh, Sirena is it? I've seen you around I think."

The kid's eyes seemed to follow Aran's to look at the stone floor and they lit up when Aran's did too. In fact the Sirin's realisation that there's food in the basement seems to have made the boy quite a bit more animated.
He licks his lips smiles a bit and nods his head. Even though he doesn't vocalise it, the expression seems to be quite obvious; surprised and quite pleased that there's something here he can eat. It even looked like he was about to crawl towards the hatch in the floor himself. The metal ring handle even squeaks of it's own accord and jiggles upwards as though being tugged at by a ghostly hand.
