Nieko enjoyed spending time with someone who was close to his own age. Usually people acted as if he wasn't there but Yohann was different. They travelled for a few days and got to knew each other better. Nieko was older than Yohann and didn't like him teaching him. He knew about all of the places, as he had already travelled threw them all.
As they walked threw Serten in the dark Nieko suggested something.
"Why don't we just find somewere safe and sleep outside for the night."

Yohann agreed . he two boys bought some bread and went outside the city. They saw a hill where they could stay for the night.
Yohann casted a little camp fire to keep them warm. After having eaten their very light dinner both of them decided to sleep so they would wake up early the next morning.
Though the red-haired boy felt sleepy , he could sleep and couldn't help but think about his brother. Suddenly, Yohann sensed someone was watching them.

Someone indeed was watching them, but the watcher was out of their site. As a warm breeze came down from the clear sky, a drowsiness washed over the two boys, sending them quickly into a deep slumber. The watcher then made his move and approached them quickly...
----------------------------
The fire popped and Blake's head whipped to one side.
"That was a big one," he said.
"How are your friends doing, Blake?" asked a woman.
Blake turned the other way to see that Yohann and Nieko were still asleep on their own beds in the darker corner of the room. He sighed and rested his cheek against the chair's backrest before turning around and sitting on it properly. "Still asleep."
"Well, don't wake them, will you. You said you found them asleep in the street outside? They must be so very tired, the poor things..." The large woman came in from the kitchen with a mug of soup and she handed it to Blake. "There you are dear. Warm your hands on that."
"Thank you ma'am." Blake cupped it in both hands and continued to watch the other two boys sleep.
[In case you're not sure, Blake brought them into someone else's home for the night. You can either have them wake up now or have them wake up in the morning. It's up to you.]

Nieko jolted upright but sunk back down into his pillow as a wave of dizziness came over him. He recovered and then reached into his pocket to retrieve a dagger. He gripped it tight. He looked around and saw Yohann sleeping in a bed to his left. He sat up and then saw a familiar looking boy staring at him. Nieko felt so confused. The last thing he remembered was falling asleep outside with Yohann but how did he get here.....
"Where am I? What has happened?" He said quickly wanting to know answers. He didn't loosen his grip on the dagger.

"hmmm" Yohann muttered. The boy turned himself to find a better position to sleep, he didn't seem to have been disturbed by Nieko's voice. "I don't want to wake up now... " the boy said softly after a silence "I'm feeling so good in my bed"
Suddenly Yohann opened his eyes, he remembered he was not supposed to be in a bed right now. He felt a bit uneasy and confused now and looked at Nieko, then he turned his sleepy head toward Blake.
"b... b... you are..." Yohann began. "It's you!!" Yohann shouted with surprise.

Blake was watching so carefully that when Nieko awoke he almost dropped his mug. He was even more shocked when a dagger was drawn. Then Yohann woke up next, and still Blake was frozen in shock. The woman entered the room with a steaming bowl.
"Come now," she said. "Put away the knife. Blake brought you in from the cold and from the thieves. You should be embracing him with thanks."
Still silent, Blake moved and sat in front of the fireplace, staring into it as though it was speaking to him. The woman sat on a bed beside Yohann and handed the boy a boiled leather flask filled with warm water.
"Sleep on this," she said. "It will keep you warm." She placed another at the end of Nieko's bed. "I am not related to Blake, but there is always a bed or two and some warm soup here for any friends of his." With a warm smile, she nodded to each of them. "Are there any immediate questions before I tell you to get some more rest? It's very late, and even I should be sleeping."

Nieko looked over at Yohann, then at Blake and finally at the woman who had just handed hem a warm flask. He nodded in thanks to her and returned his dagger to his pocket. He didn't say anything but just stared and waited to see if Yohann had any questions.....

Yohann held the warm flask tight on his chest and looked at the lady with a thankful look.
"I'm glad to see you again Blake.. " the boy said looking toward Blake "I don't know much about you, but in some way..."
Yohann paused. There was no noise but the ember which crackled in the fireplace. Then the red-haired boy began to turn crimson, he could have hold the flask for too long.
"Why are you here?" Yohann began to ask "did you follow us?" the boy asked with a gleam of hope in his voice "or do you have business here?"
Yohann paused again and looked at his hands, which were still holding the leather flask and turning red.
"I'm looking for my brother..." the red-haired boy said "Nieko accompanies me..." he added, then paused again hoping for an answer.

Blake said nothing. The woman answered the questions.
"Blake travels a lot. He has places to stay in every town, I daresay. He may have followed you. He may not have. He's a hard one to decipher, that boy." She smiled and looked at Nieko for a moment. "You're helping this one find his brother? That's admirable. I do hope you both find him. Losing family and not knowing how they are and whether they are well or not is a terrible thing. You deserve to know at the very least."
She stood and observed Blake for a moment. "You two should get some more rest."
[[Whether you rest or not is up to you. Skip to the morning if you want, Nieko]]

There was nothing else said. It was late and everyone had to get some rest. Nieko gripped the flask and shoved it under the blankets and then rapped himself up into a ball but he didn't go to sleep straight away. He thought about Blake and wondered if he would travel with them.
Morning came and Nieko was first to wake. He sat up in bed, rubbed his eyes and yawned. It looked as though it was going to be a pleasant day. The suns rays shone through the windows in the house. He went over to Yohann and shook his shoulders.
"Its time to get ready...." He whispered.

Yohann was already awake. He was wondering why Blake didn't talk to them the previous night, will Blake join them in their journey?
The boy stood up. "Good morning Nieko" he said without looking at the Ildemin.
Yohann went to the main room and was obviously looking for Blake.

Blake came in through the front door and spotted the other two.
"Grab some food," he said with a big smile. "We can leave now. I found a train that's going south and they're leaving in a few minutes." He piled some food in a bag and swung it over his shoulder, ushering the other two to gather their things and come outside.
The house was on the edge of Serten, by the wide road where there was a giant cart called a train which was full of barrels and crates. It had chains and was connected to a huge squat lizard. Blake pointed to the ramp on the side.
"See how it has a green flag? That means that it's trading and anyone can ride it. I already asked. The man said we can join them." He paused and turned to face them again. "You're going south to Scarcus, aren't you?"

Neiko glanced over to Yohann and saw him grabbing his pack so he did the same and took some bread from the kitchen. They rushed to the train and just caught it before it left.
Nieko nodded to Blake in response to his question. "So are you coming with us?" Nieko said to Blake as they climbed into the train.

Yohann didn't say a thing since they have left the house.
When Nieko asked Blake if he'ld come with them, Yohann looked at Blake. His green eyes were filling with interrogation.

"Of course I am! You'll die in Scarcus if you don't know what you're doing." He seemed completely indifferent to the latter statement, and said it with a childish innocence.
The three of them sat towards the back of the cart. There were some other young adventurers sitting at the other end. They were observing maps they had laid out on the wooden floor and eating spiced breads. Occasionally, they would look up at Black, Neiko, and Yohann with contempt, and they would whisper something and laugh amongst themselves. Blake ignored them.
"It's dangerous in Scarcus," Blake began, looking at his two companions. "Don't let anyone see what items you have on you, don't look at anyone, don't speak to anyone, don't bump into anyone, and don't stray from the main roads. They say the Guard captain there is corrupt and that the city's official patrols are mean." He gave each of them an equally serious look to make sure they understood how important the instructions where, and then he looked away and said to himself, "I haven't been back in such a long time..."
[Do you guys want any events between here and Scarcus? It's a long ride to the bridge to South Tasif and then through a giant forest, and then across the wasteland before they reach the city]
